The 2024 recruiting class for Gonzaga remains empty for now, but that hasn’t stopped Mark Few and his staff from looking ahead to 2025 – and they have their sights set right at the top as usual.
Isiah Harwell, the No. 7 ranked prospect in the class of 2025, announced his first official visit will be to Spokane over the first weekend in February 2024 – when the Zags are hosting Saint Mary’s.
Harwell is a 6’6 combo guard from Pocatello, ID who plays for Wasatch Academy in Utah – the same high school Nolan Hickman spent his final year before coming to Spokane. Harwell is also considering reclassifying to the 2024 class, admitting they are thinking about it but nothing is solidified as of now.
Harwell spoke with Travis Branham at 247Sports about his experience with Gonzaga so far on the recruiting trail.
“Just being able to see what it’s like to be there, what the experience is, how the team is, how they play and the environment really,” he said. “They’re all cool guys. They all love talking to me and I love talking to them. It’s the relationship building so being able to talk to them is cool.”
Harwell is in discussions to also take an official visit to Alabama, and said he is also getting pursued by Texas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Baylor, and Houston – which should make this a very exciting recruiting battle to watch.
