LOOK: Former Gonzaga basketball stars Corey Kispert and Jenn Wirth get engaged

Former Gonzaga Bulldogs forward Corey Kispert proposed to longtime girlfriend Jenn Wirth over the weekend, posting photos of the engagement on social media Tuesday evening.

Kispert, now with the Washington Wizards, played at Gonzaga from 2017-2021. He returned for his senior season and dominated, eventually getting selected 15th overall in the 2021 NBA draft and having a productive rookie season in DC.

Meanwhile, Wirth and her twin sister LeeAnne each starred at Gonzaga on the women’s team. Jenn was the 2021 WCC Player of the Year and an AP All-American Honorable Mention after averaging 12.7 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists for a team that earned a No. 5 seed but fell in the first round to Belmont.

There was an outpouring of support on social media for the pair of Gonzaga stars, with responses from multiple former players including Zack Norvell and Jalen Suggs:

Kispert and the Wizards begin their season on October 19 against Andrew Nembhard and the Indiana Pacers.
