Look: Killian Tillie reacts to latest NBA 2k23 rating on social media

The ever popular NBA 2K video game series is coming out with another version, NBA 2K23, which will be available starting on September 9, 2022.

While the ratings for each and every player in the NBA haven’t come out yet, social media has been steadily dropping a few teams or players at a time.

The NBA 2K France Twitter account revealed the ratings for nine French NBA players on Tuesday afternoon, which included the overall rating for Memphis Grizzlies forward and former Gonzaga alumni Killian Tillie.

Like last year, Tillie received an overall rating of 69; which he had some fun with on social media:

Tillie appeared in 18 games as a rookie during the 2020-21 season, averaging 3.2 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 0.4 blocks per game. He saw his role increase in year two, appearing in 36 games and making three starts for the Grizzlies, while averaging just under 13 minutes per night. His numbers were similar, however, as he averaged 3.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.4 blocks per game.

So it’s altogether unsurprising to see his NBA 2K rating stay the same, although Memphis is obviously excited about his potential after inking him to a guaranteed contract last year despite injury concerns for the Frenchmen.

Gonzaga’s other French alumni, Joel Ayayi, does not have a known NBA 2K rating at this time. Ayayi’s returning player rights were recently traded to the Lakeland Magic in the NBA G-League, but it is very possible he ends up inking a two-way deal somewhere and appearing in some NBA contests. That could be enough for him to pick up a rating before the season is up.

The rest of Gonzaga’s NBA 2K ratings will be lumped into an article once they are all revealed, likely later this week.
