Amidst the non-basketball summer months, Jamal Crawford’s Crawsover pro-am is the gift that keeps on giving. A few weeks after teaming up with Paolo Banchero, former Gonzaga star Chet Holmgren is set to return to the Seattle event on Saturday, and this time he could end up playing with or against NBA superstar LeBron James.
Crawford’s pro-am event has featured a litany of current, former, and future NBA stars; including Trae Young, Isaiah Thomas, DeJounte Murray, John Collins, Jaden McDaniels, Malachi Flynn, and of course Holmgren, Banchero and Crawford himself.
But getting LeBron in the fold is a whole nother level, and should continue to help accomplish one of Crawford’s (not-so) secret goals: bringing NBA basketball back to Seattle.
Holmgren dropped 34 points in his most recent appearance at The Crawsover, and whether he is playing with or against LeBron it will be must-watch TV, especially with Thomas, Banchero, and Murray all playing this weekend along with the King.
Fortunately for fans living on the east side of the state, the NBA announced the game will be available for stream on NBA.com and on the NBA app.
