Former Gonzaga Bulldogs forward Kelly Olynyk had a beautiful, fun, and “playful” wedding ceremony on Saturday, marrying his longtime girlfriend Jackie McNulty at Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California.
The wedding is actually the third celebration for the pair of Gonzaga alumni, as the two were initially wed in Idaho in front of a small group of family, before having a Vegas wedding (complete with an Elvis impersonator officiant) and finally the celebration on Saturday.
“We knew we would be together forever and are getting ready to start a family, so might as well throw an epic party,” the couple told People Magazine, who released a feature on the pair’s nuptials on Monday.
Olynyk and McNulty will now head on a long awaited honeymoon to Mykonos, Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast before Kelly starts training camp with the Pistons.
Olynyk, 31, is entering his 11th NBA season and second with Detroit. The former All-American played in 40 games last season, averaging 9.1 points and 4.4 rebounds despite missing a big chunk of the season with a knee injury.
