Former Gonzaga guard Admon Gilder joins Omaha Blue Crew for TBT

Former Gonzaga Bulldogs combo guard Admon Gilder will participate in The Basketball Tournament, a 64-team elimination basketball tournament televised on ESPN. Gilder is participating on Team Omaha Blue Crew, a group primarily made up of Creighton alumni, and the same squad Gilder joined last season.

Gilder is the third former Gonzaga player set to take part in TBT this year, alongside Kyle Wiltjer (Boeheim’s Army) and Josh Perkins (Friday Beers).

Gilder spent three years at Texas A&M before transferring to Gonzaga for the 2019-20 season, where he averaged 10.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and two assists per game. The Zags went 31-2 but were unable to participate in the NCAA Tournament because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gilder played 26 games overseas in 21-22, seven with Lahti in Finland and 19 with PGE Stargard in Poland. He is participating in TBT for the second time after the team went 1-1 last year.

Their first game is at 4:00 PM PT on Saturday, July 16 against Team Overtime.
